chris is this your first lot of chicks you have had hatched. I hope you will give them plenty of heat because the weather is bitterly cold. One other thing, adams chrysanthemums and are of good quality sugest you get an order in quick, you never know you might miss out and then regret it.
hi geoffos it is the first time i have lost the one with dodgy legs i made my own incubator and should have had more but did not get humidity spot on too dry but will do some more in new year have learnt a lot as you do keeping the other one in the kitchen at the moment and giving heat at night seems fine on the flower sketch going to see paul he has order form and double up with him thanks will have to learn how to grow them you sound very knoledgable so if i get stuck i know were to go thanks
Chris, i do not confess to be a professional grower but i have have been gardening for sixty years now so i do think it counts for something. I have always grown flowers and also veg and have been fairly succesful.My main interests has always been flower growing and won many garden shows.As to the veg side of things ,yes i do grow only what my family eats and i get a kick trying to growing big onions. my heaviest was 5lbs and that put a big smile on my face. this comming year 2011 i am going all out to go for a real heavey one(what do you reckon). i must say that for infomation on growing onions you wont go wrong by switching on to MR SMITHYVEG or dan unsworth bloggs you get very good info with out any doubts. will be glad to give info to help.
hi chris, Yes got the leak sorted out but the damage it has done means we have got to have a new ceiling installed and also a new carpet fitted in the wifes bedroom. we have now told the contractors that we dont want any work to take place this side of xmas mainely because of the bloody mess it is likely to make. Any way it is all sorted out.Chris if and when you go to my blogg go into my profile and click on to geoffs place of pleasure. you might find some things that i have wrote about might be of some interest to you.hope the chicks are doing ok.
well chicks doing ok but one has funny feet but told it will be ok hope sow i think they are both girls by checking wings
